As the holiday season arrives, we are used to receiving gifts, but as so many of us have found, the best rewards are often found when we give to others instead. Early Saturday morning, the Indoor Track and Field team traveled to Birmingham’s CrossPlex to compete in the first meet of the season. Of the 62 schools that competed, James Clemens’ girls took home the RUNNER-UP Trophy in the 6A-7A division. The boys finished 11th place in the 6A-7A division. The James Clemens competition cheer team is once again state champs. The Jets claimed the 2012 6A state championship in cheer. This time, the Jets are 7A champs, finishing 1/10 of a point over rival Bob Jones. The Jets earned their second “blue map” on November 21st. The James Clemens Lady Jets took first in the Ardmore Lions Club Thanksgiving Tournament. This was the second year in a row the Jets have won the tournament championship. The Jets defeated host Ardmore, the Decatur Heritage and Huntland (TN) to take the title. GO JAMES CLEMENS LADY JETS!
