Boys Varsity Football · Record Setting Performance

It was a record setting night for the James Clemens offense in it’s 49-0 win over Huntsville. The Jets offense accumulated 703 total yds of offense, 364 yds rushing and 339 yds passing. The offense was led by the offensive line along with a trio of players Dylan Blackburn, Chris Hope and Connor Cantrell. Blackburn rushed for 166 yds on 8 carries for two TD’s and 2 rec 29 yds. Hope finished the night with 5 rec for 159 yds, two TD’s and a blocked punt. Cantrell was 10-12 with 247 yds and 3 TD’s.

Not to be over shadowed, the Jets defense put up a shutout for the first time since Oct. 6th, 2017. The unit limited Huntsville to 89 yds total offense with 3 int’s and 6 sacks.

The team will be back in action this Friday night for homecoming vs Florence at 7:00PM at Madison City Stadium. We hope to see everyone out at the stadium.
