Multiple Teams · Jets Sign Six To Play College Sports

It was a great day at James Clemens as approximately 1000 students, teachers, fans and family members witnessed a group of six Jet student athletes sign to play collegiate sports next year. A large contingent of national and local media were present to document the historic day. Jet senior soccer player Aubrie McFall started the festivities by signing to play soccer at Louisiana Tech University. Offensive linemen Brett Bennett and Brody Collier followed with football signings to the University of North Alabama. Linebacker John Jenkins then signed to play football at Harvard University. Michael Sharpley, an anchor on the Jet defensive line for two years, signed with Kennesaw State University. And finally, LaBryan Ray, the two time 7A Alabama Sportswriters Association 7A lineman of the year, made his announcement to sign with the University of Alabama for football.

Two December graduates, Kyriq McDonald (football, University of Alabama) and Monte Rice (football, University of Georgia) also officially signed today on their respective college campuses. Below are pictures and biographical information for each student athlete.
