Multiple Teams · Football Evens Region Record With Win Over Titans

After a two week skid that saw the James Clemens offense produce seven turnovers leading to an 0-2 start on the season, the Jets held on to a 21-14 win over the Gadsden City Titans to even their region record to 1-1. The Jets were led by another strong defensive performance that produced two interceptions (Kyriq McDonald, Torolla Walker) and a blocked punt by LaBryan Ray that he recovered in the endzone for a touchdown. The Titans scored on a blocked fieldgoal that was returned 74 yards for a touchdown and on a 34 yard pass after a muffed punt.

Rays 10 tackle performance with a defensive touchdown has him in the running for the Huntsville area player of the week. Vote for LaBryan’s performance here. Read more about his week 3 performance here. You can also vote for the video of the blocked punt and recovery for the play of the week here.

The Titans finished with 106 yards of total offense. Senior running back Bradley Belt tallied 136 yards rushing and two touchdowns.
