Jets Welcome Capriee Tucker as Head Girls Basketball Coach

James Clemens officially welcomed Capriee Tucker as the next head girls basketball coach on Monday at a reception in the school cafeteria in front of players, parents and members of the media. Tucker, a graduate of Fort Payne High School, played college basketball at the University of Tennessee in Chatanooga. She served one year as

Jet All Stars Bound for Montgomery

Four James Clemens Jets are bound for the AHSAA All Star North – South games next week in Montgomery. Lila Young, (softball, infield and catcher) and Hannah Smid (girls soccer, left wing and center forward) will be the first Jets to take flight with their respective games being played on Tuesday. Samuels, Cortes Sign Track Scholarships

Jet track seniors Vada Samuels and Miguel Cortes recently signed track and field scholarships. Samuels, a sprinter with multiple division 1 offers, signed to run with Samford. Cortes, a thrower and decathlete that holds the school record in javelin, signed with the University of Alabama in Huntsville. Samuels plans on pursuing a degree in kinesiology
